A jailbird

I've done mistake I cannot change,

It's a fail, there's no turning back,

I've made a choice, I'm in the trap,

I've taken steps that I regret.

I have that constant feeling

Of being sorry for myself,

But let's be clear

That's not really much of help.

I was wrong, I couldn’t have known,

I let myself go underground,

I've lost my soul in one of fights

No hope the devil treats it right.

I've found a way, I'm out now,

But the memories, they still alive,

I have escaped, I've survived my war

But in my head I'm still a jailbird.
